WETUMPKA, Ala. Rock music fans, get ready. On Saturday, August 18th at 8pm   Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters will bring their musical talents to the Wind Creek Wetumpka (WCW) Entertainment Center stage, and it is a performance you will not want to miss.

Donation marks the end of a campaign that raised nearly $65,000
ATMORE, Ala. (July 2, 2018) – In preparation for hurricane season, Wind Creek Hospitality (WCH) teamed up with Feeding the Gulf Coast for disaster relief. Monday, WCH representatives presented a donation of $27,218 to the Mobile-based food bank. The funds will be used to pack almost two trailer loads of relief boxes with non-perishable food and bottled water.

The recent Supreme Court ruling regarding sports betting will have NO immediate effect on our gaming operations.
Alabama and Florida State laws still prohibit sports betting in brick and mortar facilities such as our race tracks and Wind Creek Casinos.

ATMORE, Ala. (March 8, 2018) -- PCI Gaming Authority d/b/a Wind Creek Hospitality, an
instrumentality of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians (the “Tribe”), announced today that it has
entered into a definitive agreement under which Wind Creek Hospitality will acquire the Sands
Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for a total enterprise value of $1.3 billion. The
closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory review and other customary closing


As Alabama’s 7th annual Severe Weather Sales Tax Holiday weekend kicks off, and Severe Weather Awareness Week wraps up, Wind Creek Hospitality is doing its part to help the community prepare. Friday morning Wind Creek Hospitality presented the Montgomery Area Food Bank with a check for $36,705.57.

Mobile Greyhound Park will reopen for business at 10:30am Monday, October 9. 

The National Hurricane Center has issued a Hurricane Warning for the area including Mobile Greyhound Park. For the safety of our team and guests, we will be closing for business at the end of Friday’s business day and remain closed until the warning has been lifted. Two-Time World Series Champion Jake Peavy and A Taste of Wind Creek Team Up to Benefit Boys & Girls Club of South Alabama

Four local nonprofits are the recipients of a combined $45,422.04 donation from the Wind Creek Atmore (WCA) Ticket In Ticket Out (TITO) program. Monroe County High School (MCHS), Conecuh County Junior High School (CCJH), Uriah Volunteer Fire Department (Uriah VFD) and Spanish Fort Sports Association (SFSA) have big plans for the funds they received on Friday, September 15th.

All greyhounds from Mobile Greyhound Park have been successfully relocated or adopted.

Wind Creek Hospitality and the Poarch Band of Creek Indians announce that although live greyhound racing will end at Mobile Greyhound Park on August 19th, they will continue to offer simulcast of races originating from other locations at the facility. Reported by Lagniappe Mobile

The official statement from the National Greyhound Association on the closure of Mobile Greyhound Park's live racing which will no longer be offered after August 19, 2017.

MOBILE, Ala. (July 31, 2017) -- In response to declining market demand, Mobile Greyhound Park (MGP) will eliminate live races at our park at the end of August. We will continue to offer simulcast of races originating from other locations.

Wind Creek Atmore (WCA) Property Manager Tim Ramer and Assistant Property Manager Terri Morris recently presented TITO checks to Excel Public School (EPS), Perdido Elementary School (PES) and Monroeville Elementary School (MES) totaling almost $32,000.  Pilots for Christ (PFC) also received a donation of over $11,000.

Facebook likes do not always lead to money, but for 25 nonprofit winners of a social media contest, they led to a share of $125,000. On April 7th, Wind Creek Casinos in Montgomery, Wetumpka and Atmore cohosted events to celebrate winners of the $125k Giveaway contest. Wind Creek Hospitality (WCH) announced the contest in February and invited nonprofits to participate by submitting a short video to describe their organizations and outreach efforts. The contest had 125 entries and over 37,000 votes.

Brian McKnight is a legend of R&B whose music has helped couples around the world fall in love and get married.

Wind Creek Food Truck and Sponsorship Team were delighted to join Tri County JR Cattleman Association, Escambia County 4-H and Poarch Creek Indians 4-H agencies in preparing participants throughout Escambia County for their Steer Show to be held at Perdido River Farms March 9, 2017.

Christmas came early for Monroe County Public Library and J.U. Blacksher High School. On December 16, both organizations were presented with checks from Wind Creek Atmore’s Ticket In Ticket Out (TITO) program. Together, the donations totaled $23,712.82.

WCA Property Manager Tim Ramer and Assistant Property Manager Terri Morris recently presented TITO checks to Flomaton Elementary School and Turtle Point Science Center, totaling more than $20,000.

On December 19th, 2016 the Elmore County Food Pantry were the recipients of all the toys collected front and back of the house for our 2016 Toy Drive. E.C.F.P. went home with 10 super large bags of toys including two bicycles for the children of the families they work directly with at Christmas. Patty quoted “Your contributions will go a long way in serving food and gifts to insecure individuals and families throughout Elmore County. We serve over 500 households each month, at no charge to the recipients, and all of our donations have direct and immediate impact on serving those in need”. “Thank you so much for making this Christmas wonderful for so many families”.

Wind Creek Hospitality has provided an annual sponsorship to Salvation Army for their Doing the Most Good – Annual Luncheon.  Mitchell Cancer Center also hosted Celebrate Hope at the Mitchell Center Institute on November 17.  This annual event has been sponsored by Wind Creek Hospitality for the previous four years and the last two years as the Presenting Sponsor.


Elmore County Food Pantry receives $5,287.93 from Wind Creek Wetumpka TITO donation program for the month of November. Receiving the check is Patty Peacock the Food Pantry Director. Patty was so excited to receive the donation and said “A $5.00 donation will buy a family of four a full holiday dinner ~ 12 pound turkey, all the fixings, plus drinks and rolls and have some change left over. Thank you so very much for this generous donation”.

Wind Creek Room Chef Chris Rolin will compete in the World Food Championships next month in Orange Beach. Rolin won the right to the tournament with a ribeye burger.

Wind Creek Wetumpka was decked out in PINK for October.

All departments came together to help raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA) located in Birmingham

Thanks to the support of our guests, Wind Creek Atmore (WCA)’s Ticket In Ticket Out (TITO) program is continuing to give back to the community with a donation to Atmore Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).  

The American Red Cross was the first ever TITO Donation from Wind Creek Wetumpka.

Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce Presents Cody Williamson with the Volunteer of the Year Award

Gardnerville, NV - Wa She Shu Casino will mark its grand opening at 10AM on Thursday,  May 26th, at 1003 US Highway 395 North in Gardnerville. The grand opening ceremony will include a blessing of the ground by a Washoe Tribal Elder, an introduction of dignitaries, a performance by the Washoe color guard, and the official ribbon cutting.

Wind Creek Montgomery has partnered with AMBUCS Montgomery River Region chapter and AmTryke to facilitate the AmTryke adaptive bicycle program for people with special needs. Wind Creek Montgomery was able to donate $3,572.66 to this worthy cause. The mission of the National AMBUCS non-profit organization is to create mobility and independence for people with disabilities, and AmTryke helps them do that. Nearly every one of the 144 AMBUCS chapters chooses to carry out their mission, at least in part, by providing AmTryke therapeutic tricycles to people with special needs in their community. Through this donation, AMBUCS was able to provide for 7 small bikes and 1 large bike.
One of those bikes went to a special recipient, A.J. Thanks to AMBUCS and the donation from Wind Creek Montgomery, A.J. will finally be able to learn to ride a bike along with his little brother. His mother, Candice Peden, said “Thank you Wind Creek and their customers for their generosity.  We appreciate the donation of the bike and know that you have done us a huge favor in this gift.”

Three of those winners were playing Million Degrees Progressive when they scored their winning jackpots.
